Careers & Destinations

The majority of Meopham Sixth Form students go on to higher education or intermediate and higher Apprenticeships.  All students are supported throughout the process of choosing and applying to university courses and apprenticeships by tutors, sixth form staff and the school’s Careers advisor.

To explore the university and career choices of members of the Sixth Form Alumni please visit The Meopham Sixth Form Alumni website.  By following this link you will be able to read about Lauren and her NHS apprenticeship on the ‘Student Spotlight’ page.  Further information about university courses in different sectors, such as; law, health and social care, journalism and finance can be found here too.

From the start of Year 12, students participate in trips and 'drop down days' aimed at providing them with the knowledge needed to make an informed decision about future career choices.  Furthermore, throughout the year pupils will take part in a number of presentations and workshops.
