Safeguarding
At Meopham School, the safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority. We are fully committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where every child can thrive.
Our safeguarding practices are guided by the statutory requirements set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children. Please also see the Local Safeguarding Children Partnership for more information.
All staff receive regular training and understand their responsibilities in protecting young people from harm, ensuring that concerns are dealt with swiftly and appropriately.
We work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to promote the welfare of every student and to create a culture of vigilance, openness, and respect.
If you have any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or a member of the safeguarding team on 01474 814646 or if you need to get in touch with a member of the DSL team, please email: mss-safeguarding@swale.at.
