A Level Results Day

Meopham School is celebrating yet another successful year for Sixth Form students.
Kate Girling, Head of School, said, “We are delighted with the excellent examination
results achieved by our students this year. This is a testament to their hard work and
dedication, and that of our staff. We are particularly proud of this year group as they
did not take GCSE examinations due to the pandemic, so have overcome
significant challenges to achieve success today”. Deputy Headteacher, Zara
Romney, added, “We are proud that so many students have achieved such
stunning results. These outcomes will lead to exciting opportunities for their future.”
The school has a number of individual success stories.
Daniel Appleby achieved 3 Level 3 qualifications including A-Levels in English
Literature, Psychology and Finance, Daniel said, “I’m really happy with my results,
especially my A grade in Finance. Finally all the hard work paid off, if you knuckle
down and fight for it”. Evie Bauckham achieved 4 Level 3 results, and is particularly
celebrating Distinction Stars in Sport and Health and Social Care. Evie said “I am
over the moon with my results and how these will help me in the future. Thank you
Meopham School!”
Another student who achieved fantastic results is Chevvy Baker. He said “I am so
happy about my results, I worked really hard and the teachers helped me so much
this year”. Chevvy achieved a double award in Business at Distinction Level and B
grades in Finance and Maths. He is excited to be going to Sussex University to study
Business.
Kate Girling Head of School, added, “We are immensely proud that our aspirational
and supportive ethos is producing students who excel both academically and in
developing strong character. Thanks to the support from staff and the determination
of our students I am sure they will thrive in their future endeavours.”
