Key Stage 4 (KS4) - 2026

This year’s cohort achieved particularly well, with a substantial rise in the number of grade 9s achieved by students across the school and increases in the number of students achieving grade 6 and above in English, aligning with the school’s goal to ensure students pursue A-Level study or other ambitious Level 3 qualification routes at post-16.

We are incredibly proud of students for their success, a record-number of whom are now looking forward to progressing onto their A Levels and Level 3 qualifications at the school, which has expanded its Sixth Form in recent years.  

Some of the individual standout achievements include: 

• Gracie, who successfully achieved six grade 9s in English Literature, English Language, History, Combined Science and Art, two grade 8s in Maths and Statistics and a grade 6 in French.

• Ella, who achieved four grade 9s in English Literature, English Language and combined Science, a Distinction* in Sport, two grade 8s in Maths and Geography and a grade 7 in French. 

• Raymond, who achieved four grade 9s in Maths, Combined Science and History, a Distinction* in Sport, a grade 8 in Statistics, grades 7 and 6 in English Literature and English Language as well as a Merit in IT.

• George, who achieved four grade 9s in Maths, Computer Science and Combined Science, grade 8 in Statistics and grade 6s in English Language and Geography.
• Layla, who achieved three grade 9s in English Literature, English Language and History, two Distinctions in Sport and Business, two grade 7s in Combined Science and grade 6 in Maths.
• Evie, who achieved two grade 9s in Combined Science, a Distinction* in Sport, three grade 8s in English Literature, History and Maths, a grade 7 in Spanish and a grade 6 in English Language.
• Amelia, who has a very exciting football scholarship at Brighton and Hove Albion FC.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students and everything they have achieved. Today is a chance to celebrate not only their results, but also the determination, maturity and tenacity they have shown throughout their GCSE studies.

We are excited to see what they go on to do next, whether that is continuing into our sixth form in September or taking up new opportunities beyond Meopham. We look forward to cheering them on as they begin the next stage of their journey!

Key Stage 5 (KS5) - 2026

Meopham School students are celebrating after receiving their post-16 results and they are now preparing to take their next steps!

Students have achieved great A Level results, which reflect the hard work and commitment shown throughout the past two years of their studies.

The school is delighted to have overseen another year of huge improvement in student progress, with A Level results rising for the third year in a row. The school also achieved excellent B TEC results, with a pass rate of 100%.

The school is delighted that 90% of students who applied to university have secured their first-choice place!

Many individual subjects performed strongly, including sport and health and social care, where 100% of students achieved a Merit grade or higher.

Alongside the success of the wider Sixth Form cohort, there were a number of impressive individual achievements. These include:

Ava, who successfully achieved two As in Sociology and Criminology, and a Distinction in Sport. She has secured a place to study at the University of Nottingham.

Oscar, who achieved two Distinction grades in sport and business and a Merit in Health and Social Care. He is going on to study Sport Management at Canterbury Christchurch University.

Anupama, who is going on to study Clinical Psychology at the University of Plymouth.

“We are incredibly proud of our sixth form students and the results they are celebrating today. They have shown real focus, ambition and tenacity throughout their post-16 studies, and it is wonderful to see their efforts rewarded.

“These achievements are a credit to our students, as well as to the staff and families who have supported them along the way. We are excited to see them move on to a wide range of next steps, from university and apprenticeships to employment and further training, and we wish them every success for the future.”

9-4 in English and Maths - best non-selective school in the local area!

Meopham School was delighted to achieve the highest percentage of students with Standard Passes (9-4) in English and Maths of any non-selective school in Gravesham and the surrounding areas.

Post-16 Destinations - well above national average!

2025 % of pupils staying in education or employment after leaving KS4 = 96% (4% above the national average)

Key Stage 5 (KS5) - 2025

A Level success brings celebrations to Meopham School.

Meopham School students are celebrating the rewards of their hard work after receiving their post-16 results.  

Students at the Kent school, which is part of Swale Academies Trust, have achieved great A Level results which reflect the hard work and commitment shown throughout the past years of their studies.

We are delighted that 100% of Sixth Form students who applied to university were accepted by the first-place choice!

Overall, the school achieved well across numerous subjects, including:

• Art where students achieved an average grade of A-;
• Health and Social Care, where students achieved a Distinction grade on average;
• Sport where students achieved an average grade of Distinction;
• Business where 40% of students achieved a Distinction or Distinction* and
• Sociology where 45% of students achieved A*- B.

While all students have done well, there have been some impressive individual performances. These include: 

• Poppy - A*AA - studying Psychology at Royal Holloway University. 

• Belle - Distinction* (double), Distinction - studying Diagnostic Radiotherapy at Canterbury Christ Church University.

• Ruby - Distinction*, B, C - studying Law at the University of Exeter.

• Katie - Distinction, B, C - studying Politics and International Relations at the University of York.

• Kate - Distinction* (double), C - studying Nursing at Canterbury Christ Church University.

• Finlay - BBB - studying Hair, Make-Up and Prosthetics for Performance at the University of the Arts, London.

• Jack - Distinction, B, B - studying Finance and Investment at the University of Kent.

• Thomas Distinction, A, C - studying Finance and Investment at the University of Kent.
